Achina Traveller’s Home is a family run homestay surrounded by apricot trees, peach, apple tree, willow, poplar, green fields and organic garden. This is the best place to halt for overnight who are interested in travelling in Western Ladakh especially Aryan Valley, Skurbuchan, Hanu and Achina Thang.

The Achina Traveller’s home is a place for those who are looking for a peaceful stay amongst mountains within a unique organic village surrounded by apricot trees and a garden.

The Achina Traveller’s home offers clean and comfortable accommodation in single and double rooms with attached baths and dormitories with common baths available. Guests get served simple vegetarian / organic meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the garden adjacent to the house or in the family common dining room and the guest can enjoy traditional Ladakhi food from organically grown vegetables at the house orchard.

We have also have a library well stocked with the books about the history of Ladakh and we also arrange lecture session for the guests since the Grand Pa (Mr. Sonam Phuntsog), owner of the homestay is a renowned Ladakhi writer, historian, poet and researcher of the history of the Aryan in Ladakh.

For keeping in touch with the local village people we organize heritage walk in and around the village and The Aryan valley (Dha, Beema, Darchik, Garkon and Hanu) is just 7 km from Achina thang.
